I am so obsessed with this gorgeous little Clarins palette. The packaging is so beautiful, the whole palette is covered in a gold mirror inside and out. Inside there is also a normal mirror and 3 extremely pigmented colours.

The small light peach coloured square is number 16 Pink Frost and it is a really light shimmery light pink/peach which is perfect for the inner corners and highlighting.
The small square below is number 23, Silver Green and it is a shimmery silver/grey with a tiny hint of green.
These are both really light colours that can easily be built up to create a bold smokey look. The pigments are so easy to blend and apply and do not fade, I LOVE them!
The third slightly larger square is number 05 Rose Wood and it is a blush, however it is also the perfect neutral matte base colour for your eyes before applying the other two shimmery colours.

Today I thought I would share my top three favourite outfits of this December (as seen on my Instagram). My favourite colour is definitely black and I am never without it. The first outfit I wore to a bar with my friends, my top is from Boohoo and my skirt is from Topshop.
My second outfit was what I wore to church on Christmas eve and both my top and skirt are from Topshop and the third outfit was a little simpler for Christmas day with my top from Zara and my leather skirt from River Island.

So my last semester of uni has been hectic and little short of impossible. I had taken a break from blogging for a few months to help myself focus and now, after what has felt like a year, it is finally Christmas break! I am really sad that a lot of my friends and my boyfriend are going back home for the next month but at the same time I can't wait to catch up with old friends who I don't see as much. I am also looking forward to blogging again!

I would like to dedicate this post today to my newly discovered natural makeup.
I was a bit unsure about whether I would like it so I didn't go for a full collection or anything like that.
I have always suffered from dry skin in the winter but during exam time the skin on my face became extremely dry and irritated. I stopped wearing makeup and kept putting moisturiser and oils on but nothing helped whatsoever so I decided that it was down to stress.
Now that my exams are over my skin has improved a lot which I am so thankful for as it was really bad but since it is winter and the heating is on full blast it inspired me to try out some natural makeup to prevent the massive dryness/irritation from returning or to at lease be able to wear on days when my skin isn't feeling as great.

The three products I went for after deliberating for ages are:

  • Pacifica Natural Skin Care Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream (100% vegan)
  • Benecos Natural Creamy Make-Up
  • Benecos Natural Mineral Powder

The Pacifica Multi-Mineral BB Cream (below) is an illuminating primer, perfecting finish and age defying skincare cream all in one! I can really see how it is illuminating and I tried to capture it with the flash. Its not really glittery which I like and it is extremely light weight, I cannot feel it whatsoever. I think this would be amazing in on its own in hot weather in summer, and it can also be used as a highlighter.
It has brightening mineral pigments that adjust to your skin tone and it is also
100% vegan and cruelty free and is full of natural ingredients.

The Benecos Natural Creamy Make-Up is a medium coverage foundation. It has no SPF in it but as I live in Scotland I don't really need any sun protection, especially in winter anyway.
Having no SPF means amazing flash photos, as the foundation does not reflect the light so as you can see it appears like normal skin. (I am wearing quite a fair bit on my hand and its not very visible) This is great for events when you know there are going to be photos taken.
This is also perfect for people with dry skin as it is moisturising and has vegetable oils yet still has a matte finish.

The last of my mini collection is the Benecos Natural Mineral Powder. This does not have talc in it so it doesn't go cakey or dry out the skin. It gives a really good coverage so could be used on its own. My one is in the shade Medium Beige and it comes with a little puffer.

So that is all for my natural makeup collection at the moment, thanks for reading!x

Today I thought I would make a post on the health products which to me are really important to my daily routine and overall health. The products I am going to write about may not be necessary for everyone but you may find something that is just what you need.
I never used to bother with anything like supplements or organic products before and my energy levels, immune system and skin were clearly suffering.
I especially was not thinking about the fact that what I was putting into my body was directly affecting the appearance of my skin and I thought that using a bunch of chemical filled skin creams would sort my problems. As I also suffer from dry skin that was not the case at all.

By doing lots of research and reading I found the products which were most important and simple for me to add to my diet and daily routine and I am so glad that I have learned about these as my skin and overall health has improved significantly since.

Today I thought I would make a post on my quickest and most natural looking makeup routine. I always go for this minimal look when I don't have anywhere important to be like if I'm at uni, the library, or just chilling with friends.
I am not totally sure why but I just can't stand having a lot of makeup on when I am studying, I think it's because I end up touching my face more than I realise.

Here are the products I am currently using:

Thank you to Luxemme for sending me this beautiful jacket. It is exactly what I have been looking for for the late summer and early autumn months. I have received many compliments on it and I especially like how I have not seen anything quite the same in any of my high street fashion stores.
Luxemme are a small high quality boutique and you can check out their shop here!
I hate how I have to wait for a non-rainy day to make a fashion post here in Scotland but I was so happy that it was still sunny when I finished work today so I could finally make this post. I am now chilling with my feet up reading my new favourite book 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' by Ned Vizzini as some of you may already know from my Instagram.

A massive thank you to Happiness Boutique for sending me this beautiful necklace. It goes really nicely with so many of the clothes I wear and it looked amazing with the pale grey top I wore on my trip out to the highlands with my brother this week.

I love getting out of the city or at least away from the really industrial areas and breathing some fresh air. My brother and I did a bit of exploring and found an amazing hidden waterfall and a beautiful river a bit further on.

Wednesday, 22 July 2015

The weather here in Scotland was amazing yesterday and I wasn't working, yippee! There was no way I was staying indoors. In the morning my brother and I drove out to the highlands to go strawberry picking then in the afternoon Beth and I went for lunch at a beautiful park not far from town.

It’s not a secret that all women would like to resemble Victoria’s Secret Angels. Unfortunately, it's super difficult to achieve a flawless body like that, as it requires a lot of sacrifice and dedication. However, there is one thing about Victoria’s Secret models’ look that we can achieve for sure - their gorgeous hairstyles. We are all impressed with their silky, bouncy and voluminous hair that makes them look even more hot. I read some advice from the world’s best stylists and discovered some of the secret methods for achieving an "Angel hairstyle" is. Check out these amazing tips!

Today I just want to do a quick review on this amazing new product, the St.Tropez gradual in shower tanning lotion.

As I am a bit of a tea freak I just had to share this with you all. I am so so happy with my new glass teapot by Whittard of Chelsea
As I literally drink so much tea I have been wanting a teapot for a while now to save me having to boil the kettle every 10 minutes. I also prefer loose tea as its a lot more natural, one of my favourites is the fair trade natural black tea from Sri Lanka as it can be taken with out without milk.
I also love green tea for boosting my metabolism and cleansing my body or mint tea to improve digestion and overall calmness.

I am so in love with this teapot as it is small and light yet holds around 4 cups of water and I also love how I can remove the filter and boil fresh mint leaves in it as the spout has its own filter to stop the leaves from going through.

I am always looking at the different flavours of tea on the Whittard website so now I'll have a reason to try out some new flavours. I also really want a few of their glass jar mugs but I'll add that to my wish-list for another month!

Friday, 10 July 2015

So last month my friends and I went on holiday for two weeks to Ayia Napa in Cyprus. This place is literally known around the world for its crazy nightlife and oh boy it was crazy.

Wednesday, 8 July 2015

Deciding which products to take on holiday can be really stressful as you don't want to take any massive heavy bottles and at the same time you want to get products that will prevent your hair from getting damaged in the different climate.

I personally didn't want to spend a lot of money as I prefer not to bring the products back home with me to help make sure that I am not going over the maximum weight limit for my suitcase, or so I can have some extra weight to bring back new things I that I find abroad.

Here are the products that I went for:
The Beach Blonde shampoo, conditioner and hair mask by John Frieda,
Coconut hair milk by OGX,
And oil spray by Original Source.

Thank you so much to SOUFEEL for sending me this beautiful charm bracelet. They have an endless amount of gorgeous pieces to choose from to suit just about any occasion or memory.
There are different styles of bracelets to choose from including a bangle, a classic style, which is the one I went for, or different colours of leather. You can also choose the size of each bracelet which helps to make it even more personal and suitable for all ages.

All of these products are sterling silver and free shipping is provided for all orders over $50 with returns available 365 days a year!

I got so carried away and spent a vert long time browsing through all of the unique charm designs trying to decide which ones to pick. Here are the ones I went for.

Wednesday, 24 June 2015

Okay I swear this is my last post on sunglasses but i just have to share these with you all.
This is just a quick post as I have just returned home from Cyprus and haven't blogged in a while.
I had bought these gorgeous retro Lolita style sunglasses for just £3.65 on eBay, here. I am so happy with them, they are so cute and give full UV protection which is so amazing for the price!
These definitely look stunning with black, white and monochrome clothes and they also help to make outfits look so much more retro and a bit more bold and unique although I am not sure if I am brave enough to wear these out yet!

Friday, 5 June 2015

Summer has finally started to make its way to Scotland and I could not be happier. I had bought this skirt so long ago and I couldn't wait to finally wear it. Me and my wonderful best friend and photographer Beth went to a park to enjoy the sun today, it's really big and has an amazing indoor winter garden. I am also really loving long A-line skirts at the moment as they don't make me feel overly dressed or exposed and are also really vintage looking.

Monday, 1 June 2015

I LOVE ANKLE BOOTS. They have got to be one of the only reasons that I manage to survive living in Scotland. Here they are appropriate all year round due to the temperature rarely moving above 14 degrees (It's the first of June today and the temperature is 10 degrees and its cloudy ugh!).
I had seen this style of shoes for the first time at my work in TOPSHOP a while ago however they weren't real leather and were quite pricey considering, so I reluctantly left them.
I am now so glad that I did as I found this same styled pair in real leather on ASOS! They are perfect for summer and I especially wanted them to be real leather as non leather shoes without socks can start to odour after a long day so these leather ones will be perfect to wear to work as well. I could not be more

Tuesday, 26 May 2015

This month I thought I would try out some new makeup products and as I've been using the same products for a while I wanted to get some completely different ones that I haven't tried before.
I get way too exited when I have finally have money to spend on new products and these are the ones I went for.

Sunday, 17 May 2015

Today I thought I would tell you all about my current favourite hair care products as I haven't made a post about hair care before and I am currently loving a certain six products.

Friday, 15 May 2015

So I bought another pair of sunglasses from Topshop and these are a lot more Coachella than the previous cat eye pair that I bought. As some of you may already know I LOVE Coachella style fashion and I felt like these would go a lot better with a lot of my outfits. I had made a post about the cat eye pair in the third picture last month so if you like them then check it out! I think these ones are perfect for more vintage laid back looks whereas the cat eye ones are more sophisticated.
A link to buy these sunnies is here

I am so excited to finally make this post on the haul I did around 2 weeks ago. I wanted to wait until I had tried out all of the products before I wrote about them so here we are! My Body Shop haul.
The Body shop has got to be one of my all time favourite stores due to the minimal amount of chemicals they use in all of their products. I always seem to know exactly what I want straight away when I go and this time I decided to get their Vitamin E Sorbet facial cream, body cream and eyes cube, the Elderflower Eye Gel, Coconut Hand Cream, strawberry shower gel and perfume.

Monday, 11 May 2015

One more uni exam left to go wooo! I can't wait to have the time to blog so much more often. Today I wanted to write about these two amazing products by Victoria's Secret. My best friend brought these back as a gift from her home country Sweden and I have been using them everyday since.

SPRING no. 2

Today I had my first exam for criminal law and I think it went quiet well, well i'm hoping it did anyway, afterwards it was so warm and sunny outside and as the exam finished at 11am me and my friend decided to take a walk around our beautiful campus to relax before getting back into studying. On my way home in the town centre a man was sculpting a dog out of sand and it was one of the most amazing works of art that I had ever seen.
The top and the jeans I am wearing are from Topshop!

Friday, 1 May 2015

So last month I attended my courses annual law ball and it was so much fun. It was basically a posh dinner that turned into a crazy night of drunken dancing. My friends and I had been waiting for it since the first day we were told about it back in September. I had planned what I was going to wear for so long and I was so happy with it that I thought I would share it with you all.

My dress was by Little Mistress by Look Magazine, my shoes were by from asos, my red clutch from Coast and my fur jacket from Topshop and of course I wore my my Ruby Woo lipstick by MAC. My nails were my own but simply painted with gel polish.

Monday, 27 April 2015

So I came across this super cute and cheap Korean makeup website called with so many adorable cosmetic items, I couldn't help but get one. I went for this cute little tub of peeling gel in peach by Baviphat. It was around £7 with free shipping to the UK which I though was really good considering the tub is quite big and has a lot of product in it. It took around two weeks to arrive which I thought was acceptable considering the free shipping.

Monday, 20 April 2015

After waiting nearly a month for these to arrive from the U.S, waking up to them arriving literally made my morning. I had been watching and reading so many reviews on these products for so long as I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to waste my money.
The Pomade is $18, the duo brush was also $18 and the Brow Wiz was $21. Along with shipping and customs to the UK this was a lot, but one great thing I discovered when I opened the Pomade was that it was definitely going to last me a very long time as only a tiny amount is needed each time.

Wednesday, 15 April 2015

I am in love with my new Simone cat eye sunglasses from Topshop. These are so on trend at the moment and I can not wait to wear them on my holiday to Cyprus this June. They have been on my wish-list for a long time now but it's a shame Scotland is so dull as I don't think I am going to get many chances to wear them here. I have also got my eye on a few pairs of 60's round glasses but I feel like these are still going to be my favourite.

I had heard and read really good things about this range so I though I would try it out, these are the Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser and the Anti Fatigue Perk-up Cream and these are both are part of the Loreal skin perfection range.

Wednesday, 8 April 2015

I've narrowed down my favourite foundations to my top four that I want to share with you. They are slightly more pricey so I might do another post on drugstore alternatives in a few weeks.

Friday, 3 April 2015

As the Smashbox contour kit that i reviewed a few weeks ago is quite pricey at £35 I thought I would post a cheaper alternative.

Thursday, 2 April 2015

I have two new high end products that I want to share and these are the turnaround instant facial masque and the even better clinical dark spot corrector both by Clinique.

Friday, 27 March 2015

I've done a post about primers a while ago that was about the Mac prep + prime, Baby Skin by Maybelline New York and Studio Secrets Anti - Redness Primer by L'Oreal Paris.
Since writing that review I've tried out a few more primers that I want to share with you.
The first one is "that gal" brightening face primer by Benefit, this one retails at £22.50 ($33).

Thursday, 26 March 2015

Since my last post was on a much more expensive skin cream I thought that I would write about a much cheaper alternative that I think works just as well. It is the Aloe Vera Hydrating & Soothing Facial Cream by CYCLAX.

Sunday, 22 March 2015

So I haven't blogged anything in a while and this is literally because i've been drowning in course work.. Drowning may be an understatement, I'd say its been more like having a pile of bricks fall on me and crush me but the bricks are actually books hahah, my friend Beth had said something really funny "they're not dishing out law degrees like pens at an open day" haha, definitely not!
Anyway i'm going to stop ranting now and write about this product that has been on my mind for ages that I have really wanted to share with everyone.

Sunday, 15 February 2015

So I have invested in a Smashbox contour kit and I can honestly say I love it!!!
This one retails at £35 and I purchased mine at Boots in the UK but it can be also be bought on Amazon.
